01. Grooms
I’ve recently grown a sweet affection for elevating groom & groomsmen getting ready photos.
- I aim to take the same care & attention to detail on grooms portraits, groom wedding details & their groomsmen’s, when the main photographer is with the bride & her bridesmaids.
02. BTS
I love providing behind the scenes images for my peers.
- I love being able to provided the added bonus of providing my peers & industry friends professional behind the scenes captures while they work with their clients.
- If day-of social media post are important to your brand, I love providing any iPhone images, boomerangs or stories from wedding days also.
03. DETAILS
I delight in the details & I love capturing any location
detail images.
- As a portrait photographer myself, I adore working with people more than anything, but as a second photographer I’m grateful to capture any images that allow the main photographer to prioritize their own clients & portraits. This sometimes means my main focus as a second shooter may be locations & decor.
05. PORTRAITS
And of course, I love portraits
- As a second shooter I love providing additional portraits for the bride and groom, whether I’m shooting from a different angle from the main photographer, or shooting from a distance to give the clients more dramatic wider images. I love it all

& people on a wedding day, all day.
- I believe these are the images that tug at the heart the most, the real authentic moments through out a wedding day & if you favor them as much as I do, I love prioritizing these images if your brand & clients prioritize them too.

Looking for someone with off camera flash experience?
I’m your girl. Whether it’s lighting up a dance floor, taking room detail photos or lighting up dark spaces on a wedding day, I enjoy “bringing the light”, as well as natural light.

Here’s a little bit about my services as a second photographer.
+ All the Deets on working with Ica ↓
- I request a 2nd shooting contract with all lead photographers.
- My current rate as a second photographer is $50 per hour (exceptions can be made for weddings with less than 5 hours of coverage, or elopements)
- If parking, tolls, and gas can be covered in my payment that would be a huge blessing but is not a requirement.
- The week of the wedding I love having a phone/video meeting to talk through the wedding day timeline, locations, clients & expectations
- If I am allowed to post iphone BTS images/videos on social I love posting as soon possible at the end of a wedding day, most especially on my Instagram Stories.
- For all professional images that I have permission to post online at any capacity, I love honoring my lead photographers by giving them time to share their work first & shine. I generally wait 1 month after lead photographer shares full gallery with clients, to then share any of my images online (blog, porfolio, or social).
- When I am not permitted to share any images online, I request that to reflect in an increased payment rate.
- For vendor meals I request a *gluten free meal if possible as I am gluten intolerant (& missing real cake terribly)
- When possible, I love when I work with lead photographers who provide a set of "second photographer" SD memory cards for me to use in my SD Dual Memory Card Slots so that they can collect my images with ease at the end of a wedding day.
- POST WEDDING: I always save all RAW files on 2 forms of hard drives (1 on a cloud). Should you need to access my RAW files, I save them for approximately 6 months.
