Georgetown Waterfront , Washington D.C. Proposal Photography: Ram + Ishani

I can’t think of a better way to “ring” in the New Year than to share this sweet Georgetown Waterfront proposal I captured the first Friday of this year. It was an Instagram DM + a one year, long-distance love story that led Ram & Ishani to their DC proposal.

Ram planned a surprise trip to DC for both he & Ishani to kick off their new year. He teamed up with proposal planners: The Heart Bandits to plan this romantic proposal filled with rose petals in Ishani’s favorite color, yellow & had acoustic guitarist and singer, David Smith serenade them during this special moment. It was such a joy & pleasure to be the decorator & photographer for this proposal & I am so happy for Ram & Ishani.

Congrats again you two & I hope your weekend in DC was the best weekend ever.
