Kilmarnock, Virginia Waterfront Wedding Photography | Kyle + Mary's Virginia Wedding

The word that kept coming to mind throughout Mary and Kyle’s beautiful, waterfront wedding day was the word: legacy.

Last fall Kyle and Mary got married on the property that’s been in Kyle’s family for generations. In their tight knit community, many of their neighbors are family members & life long friends. The waterways that served as a backdrop to so much of their wedding day, contains generations of family history & family stories. The local church down the street holds so much meaning to Kyles grandparent’s story and it’s garden served as Mary and Kyle’s first look location.

Every part of Kyle and Mary’s wedding day honored their love, & the legacy of family. It was such a gift to bear witness & capture their wedding as the second photographer to Emily Alyssa Photography. As much as I loved shooting this wedding along side her in both digital and film, I’m excited to share just my film scans from this wedding here on the blog today.
