Candlelit Washington DC Proposal: Mudasir + Masooma
On a cold & quiet evening on the Georgetown waterfront last week, Mudasir proposed to his beautiful girlfriend Masooma & she said “YES!”. I had the incredible honor of capturing their proposal on camera & it felt like the entire city stood still for the evening, just for them.
I am so incredibly happy for these two!
I absolutely adore that they met at Masooma’s sister’s wedding where she was the Maid of Honor & he was the Best man. That’s a story I don’t hear very often & it warms my heart that one love story has paved the way for another. After their proposal, we took some beautiful evening portraits & though I am a natural light obsessed photographer, it was so much fun capturing something so different from my norm & I love how romantic their photos turned out.
Mudasir + Masooma, congratulations again & again! I’m so happy for you both.
