This year I’ve taken time to work on personal photography projects again, something I haven’t done in quite some time. I’m so excited to share film images I captured in downtown DC on a quite quarantine (because of COVID) morning. In June the whole city was still on lockdown, but outdoor physical activities were still allowed so I took the opportunity to capture the city on the quietest, most peaceful morning walk.

That day I enjoyed my beautiful walk around the city by with one roll of Kodak Portra 400 film. The golden morning light that hit Constitution Hall’s marble columns was my favorite view of that day. My second favorite was the perfect blue, cloudless sky behind some of DC’s most famous landmarks.

Because of my love for these images, this city & because of my desire to do good with the work God’s blessed me with, today I’m launching my new Fine Art Print Shop. A portion of the proceeds from this limited-time “Morning Moments” gallery will be donated to the International Justice Mission (IJM) from August- September 2020. IJM is a Washington DC-based, international organization that fights human trafficking.
