Washington DC Photographer | Smithsonian Castle Engagement Portraits of Zahid + Annie
There’s no way for me to keep this blog post short because I absolutely adored capturing Zahid and Annie on film and I want to share just about every single image from their Washington DC engagement session. I loved that Annie and Zahid choose the gardens that surround the Smithsonian Castle for the backdrop to their romantic engagement portraits. Even though we were in the heart of Downtown DC, the city was quiet and the gardens were empty, making us feel like we’re transported to a secret garden.
Annie and Zahid’s relationship is so beautiful. They met in third grade, they’ve been dating for three and a half years, but my favorite thing about these two is that you can truly tell that they are best friends. Both of them are such romantics and even got engaged where they went on their first date at Alexandria’s Jone Point Light House, which looks like a scene from their favorite movie “A walk to remember”.
Zahid and Annie, I can’t believe we just met! It feels like we’ve been friends for a long time! Thank you for letting me get to know you, your family/friends, and your beautiful love story. Congrats you lovebirds & I wish you both so much joy!
