Colorful, Art Inspired Fredrick Maryland Wedding | Steve + Emma

During a church celebration a few years ago, Emma and Steve talked for the first time after weeks of exchanging messages. Years later these two said “I do” in that very same church with the most colorful and joyful ceremony and I was the lucky gal who got to capture that beautiful day.

Steve and Emma had the most colorful decor & florals for their summer wedding last year. Their colorful wedding palette was a perfect representation of their fun-loving, joyful personalities. I especially love that every part of their wedding was saturated in things that truly make Steve and Emma unique & wonderful, from inside jokes, a hidden batman figurine, family heirlooms, a kids parade to Mary Poppins tunes, to family musicians performing during both the ceremony and reception, & Emma’s hand-painted portrait of her & Steve. Every bit of their wedding day represented exactly who they are, their love for God and their love for family and friends. It was the happiest wedding ever & Steve and Emma are some of the happiest people I’ve ever had the joy of capturing.

Steve & Emma, thank you for making me fall in love with what I do again. Capturing your wedding day breathed creativity, & gladness into my heart, that won’t soon wear off (even a year later, your wedding day brings me so much joy ). Your joy for life & love for others is contagious, & the way you two live & do everything so purposefully inspires & encourages me. I’m so glad the Lord brought you two together to make this world that much sweeter & a lot more colorful.
