One of my favorite things about marriage is the friendship my husband and I share because we are best friends. I believe friendship is so important in marriage & in family life. It’s one thing to love your family, it’s another thing to truly like your family & your spouse’s, & enjoy their friendship.

Melanie and Eric’s families had years of shared friendship together before these two got married & said I do, making their wedding day so much more sentimental for every family member there. I was so moved by the closeness these two share with each other & with each other’s families. You couldn’t even tell who’s family was who’s because it felt like one wonderful, ginormous family filled with so much love. It was such an honor to witness & capture such a sweet wedding celebration & be there for my friend Sarah, as her second photographer. Congrats again Eric & Melanie!
