El Paso, Texas Mountain top Wedding | Tyler and Fanny's Franklin Mountain Micro Wedding
For many couples who got married in 2020, many things did not go as planned. For Fanny and Tyler, a number of the BIG things didn’t go according to plan for them, so much so that they changed their wedding venue from Richmond, Virginia to El Paso, Texas months before their big day.
A few months prior to their wedding day Tyler & Fanny called to inform me that Fanny’s father had had a stroke and could no longer fly to them for their wedding day. Because family means so much to both Tyler and Fanny, they quickly decided they’d bring their wedding to Fanny’s dad in El Paso, Texas so he could celebrate with them.
Every moment of their “micro” wedding was so heartfelt and meaningful. I’m not sure I’ve cried harder watching a father walk his daughter down an aisle than watching Fanny’s dad walk Fanny down the aisle with the aid of her baby brother & her holding him up & her dad and brother’s legs tied together. Not even a stroke could stop Fanny’s father’s love for her & it’s a sight that will stay with me forever.
Although Fanny and Tyler plan to have their BIG Richmond, Virginia wedding celebration this year, they stuck to their original 2020 wedding date and said “I do” on the mountain tops of El Paso, Texas, at Franklin Mountain State Park.
During their ceremony, there was so much laughter and so many happy tears. I can hardly wait for their Virginia celebration to arrive because I know it’s going to be the greatest fun to capture and celebrate their love once again. Tyler & Fanny, I can not thank you enough for trusting me to come to El Paso and capture your micro wedding weekend. It was such a privilege to be amongst your tight-knit group of friends & family & it’s no wonder you both love soooo big … you are surrounded by such BIG love. I can’t wait to see you all in the fall for round 2!
