Modern NYC skyline wedding at Battello | Michael & Chi's New Jersey Wedding
A year ago this week I was in a lively New Jersey restaurant second shooting Chi and Michael’s beautiful and modern wedding day for my friend, Clarence Chan. When I daydream about the days we’ll finally be able to party with our favorite people with no fear of COVID, fill a dance floor & enjoy ourselves in a packed restaurant in the city, no masks, and no worries, I dream of scenes from Chi & Michael’s wedding day.
Michael & Chi’s wedding day was filled with the New York city’s skyline, a trip to Liberty State Park for portraits and their first look, the most delicious food from Battello & wholehearted celebration from everyone present. It’s wild to see these images a year later after months of social distancing and many weeks of quarantine. I think this wedding was one of the last times I was surrounded by so many people in one place. I can’t wait for the days ahead of us where we’ll be able to all party down like Chi & Michael & their loved ones did on the beautiful October day.
