Romantic Washington DC Micro Wedding Photography | Anthony & Emily's DC Elopement
“You make my dreams, come true over and over again.
And I honestly, truly believe, You and me are written in the stars.
If there's one that's true, It's that I was born to love you.”
Anthony and Emily’s romantic “micro” wedding (read: elopement) felt like a scene from the musical The Light in the Piazza. Their intimate ceremony attended by 15 of their dearest friends and family, was set in front of the fountain in the middle of the park at sunset. When the sun finally dipped below the horizon and the fountain lights came on, it felt like we were transported to a piazza somewhere in Italy.
For a few minutes, the city seemed absolutely quiet & still for the few moments Emily & Anthony exchanged vows and rings. Even with many faces hidden behind masks because of COVID … every pair of eyes seemed to glow with hopefulness, joy & gratitude as they watched these two say “I do”.
Emily and Anthony, thank you for allowing me and Missy to capture your beautiful story. You both have been through so many difficult seasons in your lives already, I know that your love can endure just about anything (even wedding planning during a pandemic).
